A warrior is someone who loves as fully as possible. A warrior is someone who understands their needs and is fearless in telling others what they are, even at the risk of being vulnerable. A warrior knows when to let the silence speak. A warrior is fearless in living.
The warrior mindset is more than aggressiveness and determination, it is about overcoming challenge and adversity. It’s about possessing, understanding, and being able to utilize a set of psychological and physical skills that allow someone to be effective, adaptive, and persistent.
This seven day program will work on the movement aspect of teh aspect. Motion is lotion to the brain and body.
Course Duration: 80 minutes.
Day 1:
Works on mobility, flexibility, agility from infant development and primal movement patterns.
Day 2:
Works on the original repertoire of Joseph Pilates using resistance from either an elastic band, tie, strap or towel.
Day 3:
Works on precision, skillset and technique. We us a pillow as a prop to draw attention to the mid line or centre of gravity.
Day 4:
Works on energising the body using dynamic flow.
Day 5:
Uses contemporary and classical moves and the proprioceptive feedback of a towel to work on specifically targeted areas of the body.
Day 6:
The wall and door assist the body to open, spiral and resist against. Creating a supple leopard.
Day 7:
A rehabilitation sequence to de-stress and relax the body. The influences are somatic in nature. The effects on the central nervous system is parasympathetic.
